Speculating on the rumors surrounding professional wrestling is probably the favorite pastime of many fans, second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important note: Rumors are just rumors. None of this has been confirmed as fact, just pro wrestling rumors being spread. We track the accuracy of rumors here in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back. Remember to take everything with a grain of salt.

Rumor of the day:

Sean Ross Sapp said on his podcast “Fightful Select Q&A” that “a lot of people are desperate to be on ‘Raw’ because of the situation with Netflix,” while talent is on TV for a two-hour show. He said he is frustrated by how difficult it is to find time. live program. When asked if the recent changes to the tag titles on the main roster mean WWE will focus more on the tag division, a WWE Sapp source was less enthusiastic, saying, “Yeah…we’ll see.” I responded. Sapp said he has “not heard definitively” that Kevin Owens has re-signed with WWE, but believes “it’s safe to assume so at this point.” According to Dr. Chris Featherstone, Netflix’s Raw has advertising and is “similar to previous episodes, with natural breaks throughout the storyline.” Regarding the story that AEW offered Matt Cardona a contract, Sapp said he didn’t know if that happened, but Cardona said, “I’m telling people that I’m not signed and that I’m not signed with AEW at this point.” I talked about it,” he said. According to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, AEW has talked to Sportsnet about making the network home to Canada “because it would be an upgrade.” Those negotiations apparently failed, as TNA announced a deal with Sportsnet on Monday.

If you hear any interesting rumors that you would like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. This is just a rumor and has not been confirmed as fact, so please take it as such. And keep track of how often rumors turn out to be true by checking out our weekly Rumor Recap here.
