Speculating rumors surrounding professional wrestling is a favourite entertainment for many fans, and perhaps the second one actually watches the match. In this daily column, we look at the latest rumors that have emerged about professional wrestling.
Important reminder: Rumors are exactly that – Rumors. This has not been confirmed as a fact. It’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor factory. Track the accuracy of rumors with a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back. You can find it here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
The day’s rumours:
In a recent behind-the-scenes pass Q&A, Wrestlevotes answered a question about being a commercial punk face on Triple Threat on WrestleMania 41. /Can be punctured by the rumored triple threat with CENA Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins. Rather than the main roster, Ricky Starks, who debuted on NXT, was a timing issue with each Fightful Select. With WrestleMania’s plans being locked up primarily, NXT is more “fluid” and makes it easy to slot Starks into current creatives. Fighful’s report also claims he didn’t say the Starks’ name during his NXT debut (the crowd chanted “Ricky Starks” but never used either him or the announcer team), but The site uses his name, who has not asked why WWE was not. Contrary to the recent Wrestling Observer Report, despite appearing in promotional videos with the righteous, Fightful Select says Elijah (ELIAS of FKA WWE) has not been signed by AEW/ROH. TNA is reportedly interested in bringing Elijah. Observer Brian Alvarez also updated the items she shared about Chad Gable, which AAA’s Chad Gable may be at work. It doesn’t seem to happen. Alvarez said: And while fixing/updating previous rumors, Keith Lee shot down one of his behind-the-scenes in Dynamite last week, and in a clash in Houston last Saturday, he said, “Austin.” “Dynamite” wrote that it was “easy” (possibly a Tuesday taping) “After all, I live in Texas. A good day.” In an interview with Mas Lucha, Elle Dr. Hajo de Wagner Jr. said he spoke with WWE before signing the AAA recently. He chose AAA because he wanted WWE to mask him if he decided to go that route in the future. Pep S. Caro of Planeta Wrestling described WWE as a “better offer” and confirmed that Luchador went to AAA to ensure he could remain masked.
