Speculating on the rumors surrounding professional wrestling is probably the favorite pastime of many fans, second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumor of the day:
WWE officials have told Andrew Zarian that replica belts will be sold in exchange for using the old title design on special shows, much like Cody Rhodes won the Winged Eagle WWE Championship in Saturday Night’s Main Event. will play a “big role,” he said. According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, expect “some production changes” when AEW begins simulcasting Dynamite on Max next month. Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that “there was at least some talk of (Matt) Cardona signing with AEW,” but Meltzer said he doesn’t know if that happened or if Cardona signed. AJ “Top Dollar” Francis’ contract with TNA expires on December 31st. According to Fightful Select, the two sides are enjoying working together and an extension is possible. PW Insider reports that ring announcer Jade Chan told TNA officials over the weekend that her contract expires at the end of this month and she will not be re-signing. Chung is married to Josh Alexander, so her departure has increased speculation about Alexander’s future after his TNA contract ends in February. According to PW Insider, Trent Seven and KUSHIDA have also “left TNA.”
