But first, I have a few questions…
I will be heading to Milwaukee on March 7th for speaking engagement. If I hold a meetup at my local bookstore (probably the sixth or eighth), can I attend?
And now in the newsletter…
“The Coven” has been removed by one of our members, my small community who has overcome the achievement and finding the life we โโlove. bomb When she asked, I asked me this question, “Is hard work essentially good?” Go home.
As a millennial elder, I I lived there H. I was programmed with the classic formula of success. He hones his prestigious school, earns big jobs, accumulates 401Ks, and is rich to retire (or dies). And honey? I carried out that plan like a boss. By my early 30s, I was one of the youngest VPS at Comedy Central.
Exception…I was woken up at 4am with anxious sweat about my work project. I climbed the corporate ladder with a fierce speed look easy But I felt like a human burnt-out shell. I didn’t know if the purpose of life was important Any It shows what mine is. When the layoffs hit in 2020, I was totally elucidated. “This isn’t like that Assumption To go – I worked So Heard, “I screamed at Boyd, my mascara running, my identity fell apart.
But here is what I have realized because my dream career is more meaningful, profound, easier, (odd) more advantageous. Hard work is inherently unworthy. It’s more like a rocket booster.

Rocket boosters are them Large scale An engine that launches a spacecraft into orbit. They burn an insane amount of fuel and are absolutely essential to being free from the gravity of the Earth. But this is important – they are design drop down. In fact, you will continue to use rocket booster energy. It’s counterproductive and even harmful. why?
Boosters are too heavy (e.g. carrying emotional baggage)
They are the wrong type of propulsion of space (like using h-fuss when you need flow)
They burn resources faster than before to burn episodes of me The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

For me, Hustle was my rocket booster. It launched me out of my situation, but as it continued to work at that burn rate, I was almost destroyed. The fierce hustle mindset that starts a career can actively hinder us when we are truly established and what we really need is innovation, creativity, sustainable energy .
The brave thing we can do from time to time is to make sure those boosters fall And trust what we have already Escape speed has been reached. Even if we have to go further in our careers, we can easily rest with the fact that we have made it an f*cking outter space!!! After all, the real mission is not a launch. I discovered it after getting back on track.
Love you and it means it. Please drop a comment below to let us know: Which boosters are you ready to release? Does this resonate with you? I worked really hard on this phelosoph.
In this New York Times article:My boyfriend has no ambitions. Is it a trading breaker?“Therapist Lori Gottlieb encourages us to question our assumptions about hard work. Perfect timing, loli!
