Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 14 series 5G has finally made its debut, offering an impressive feature-packed lineup at every price point. But with three models – Redmi Note 14, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Plus, each catering to different needs, how do they compare?

All three models share some common features, including stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, 5G connectivity, and Xiaomi’s HyperOS, but they’re clearly designed for different users. The Note 14 offers well-rounded features at an affordable price, making it perfect for those on a budget. The Note 14 Pro offers a nice middle ground between performance and camera features. With its flagship specs and premium price, the Note 14 Pro Plus targets users who want the best the series has to offer.

Let’s break it down.

Display: All three models have 6.67-inch 120Hz displays, but they vary in type and resolution. Redmi Note 14 features a FHD+ Super AMOLED display with up to 2100 nits brightness and 10-bit color depth. Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro Plus feature a 1.5K OLED display with up to 3000 nits brightness and 12-bit color depth. It also includes Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for a superior viewing experience.

Performance: Redmi Note 14 and its Pro sibling use different processors to meet the needs of different users. Note 14 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra (6nm). Note 14 Pro is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra (4nm) and Note 14 Pro Plus is equipped with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (4nm).

Redmi Note 14 series 5G comparison

Battery and Charging: Battery capacity increases as you move up the lineup. The Note 14 is equipped with a 5110mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. The Note 14 Pro has a slightly larger 5500mAh battery with the same charging speed, while the Note 14 Pro Plus has a larger 6200mAh battery and faster 90W charging.

Camera Setup: The camera is where the series shines and the differences are noticeable. Redmi Note 14 features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro. Redmi Note 14 Pro shares the same main sensor but adds enhancements for better low-light photography. Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus features a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a unique 50MP 2.5X portrait telephoto lens.

Construction and Durability: They also have different levels of durability. The Redmi Note 14 is dust and splash resistant with an IP64 rating, while the Pro model has IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications for higher water and dust resistance.

Prices and Variants: Redmi Note 14 starts at Rs 18,999 (6GB + 128GB) and goes up to Rs 21,999 for 8GB + 256GB. Redmi Note 14 Pro price starts from Rs 24,999 and goes up to Rs 26,999. Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus price ranges from Rs 30,999 to Rs 35,999 depending on RAM and storage.
