In 2023, Nadella met with Prime Minister Modi during a visit to India. Microsoft’s CEO praised the Centre’s ‘Digital India’ initiative.

December 30: Satya Nadella meets Telangana CM

The meeting with PM Modi came days after Nadella met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad.

According to a post by the Telangana CM’s office on Appreciating the Prime Minister’s vision for improvement, he said only these two cities can place Hyderabad among the top 50 cities of the world in generating economic growth.

Microsoft was one of the earliest technology companies in Hyderabad and has grown over the years to 10,000 employees. It is also investing in 600MW of data center capacity in the state.
