President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan during his three-day trip to strengthen relations and discuss global development, his communications department announced.
In a written statement over the weekend, Communications Director Farrettin Altun announced the Erdogan itinerary between February 10th and 13th.
“Our President, Recept Taip Erdogan, will be making official visits to Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan from February 10th to 13th, 2025.
During consultations, bilateral relations will be reviewed and joint measures will be decided to further advance existing cooperation through concrete projects, Altun said.
“President Erdogan will preside over the meetings of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Councils in Indonesia and Pakistan after visiting Malaysia, a comprehensive strategic partner,” Altun said.
The contracts will be signed in a variety of areas, promoting collaboration with business circles and strengthening the bilateral contracting base with the countries the president visits, Altun added.
The meeting also includes discussions on current regional and global issues with a special focus on Gaza, according to the Directorate.
Erdogan, Macron talks about the Middle East over the phone
In the meantime, Erdogan exchanged telephone conversations with French President Emmanuel Macron over the weekend, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional and global issues.
According to a statement from the Communications Bureau, Erdogan said the increase in dialogue between the two countries will contribute to relations in a positive way, with Tarquier and France having the potential to cooperate in many sectors, particularly in the defense industry.

Macron emphasized France’s support for the integrity of Syrian territorial land and the importance that comes with the continued fight against ISIL terrorist organizations, according to a statement from the French presidency.
He also emphasized the need to include Syrian Kurds in the political system.
