House of Graff means only the finest, rarest, and finest stones. And the best controversy. All the credit for this controversy goes to former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. His love for money exceeded the skill Graff put into his watches. Graff makes some of the best watches in the world.
Consider the Graff Diamonds hallucination. This watch is touted to be the most expensive quartz watch in the world. It features 110 fancy diamonds and took approximately five years to create by 30 experts. At $55 million, it was the personal project of Lawrence Graff, Graff’s founder and diamond mine owner. This project was one he took upon himself to show the world that his home was not to be taken lightly.

There’s no such thing as too many diamonds: the Graff Diamond Hallucination Watch
To this day, Diamond Hallucination remains the property of Lawrence Graff. After all, such watches are not for sale.
This is a lesson that the disgraced former prime minister of Pakistan also learned the hard way, like Diamond.
A gift like no other
At some point during Mr. Khan’s tenure as Pakistan’s prime minister, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman presented Mr. Khan with a gift worthy of a Saudi gift. It was a gift set that symbolized the relationship between the two countries. The set includes a ring, cufflinks, a pen… and a diamond graph watch, which was used by Imran Khan, who will start a 14-year prison sentence today for leaving egg on his face.
The Toshahana Graf watch (the only one in the world) that was a gift to Pakistan from Crown Prince MBS was sold for $2 million, which became the reason for Imran Khan’s disqualification. Our Khana Kaba watches were never intended to be sold for “profit”. Shame on Imran disloyal Khan. pic.twitter.com/auqikEHZKz

What was so special about this watch? The diamond-studded graph had a Kanae Kaaba dial. It is a dazzling beauty that is priceless. A token of goodwill from MBS brought back a lot of ill will for Khan. These were gifts to the Pakistani nation. As the guardian of the state, the khan was supposed to protect the gifts the state received. Kahn did not. He sold the watch. You can’t sell the world’s only watch without getting caught. So Khan did.
story of shame
At the center of this caldron of shame is a Dubai-based businessman named Umar Farooq Zahoor.
Zahoor has a keen interest in unique watches. He is a watch collector and connoisseur. So he came up with the idea of owning a unique watch like the Kanae Kaaba Graf watch. Imran Khan signed the deal through his wife Bushra Bibi. In a 2023 interview with Geo News, Zahoor claimed that Khan sold him a custom set of graphs through an intermediary named Farah Gogi. Gogi was Bushra’s best friend and companion.
How Imran Khan sold me a rare Graf watch in Dubai. This was revealed in an interview with @SaleemKhanSafi broadcast on Geo News. I explained the role of Farah Gogi, Shahzad Akbar and former first lady and why Shahzad Akbar filed a fake case against me. pic.twitter.com/aldvnU0WEt

For Bushra, the graph was a clock. It’s a very expensive watch, but it’s just a watch. As a result, the nuances, details, and uniqueness of the Kanae Kaaba watch were not fully conveyed to Bushra, and the handover took place in Dubai. Zahoor apparently paid $12 million for the set of graphs.
A man who can’t keep quiet
After Graf’s set became his property, Zahoor did not remain silent. He roamed the city claiming to be the proud owner of the world’s only watch.
So where did it all fall apart for Khan?
In the first place, the watch wasn’t for him to sell.
Second, it was a clock that was as easy to track as an MRI contrast agent. It was the only one in the world.
The Saudis were not satisfied. Mohammed bin Salman was furious when he saw the Qanae Kaaba being sold for profit. Relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were not for sale.
Back in Pakistan, Imran Khan watched his world crumble as the Toshahana incident gripped him by the throat.
Toshahana’s story
Pakistan’s Toshahana (Treasury of Finance) regulations state that government employees can keep gifts from the state as long as they are paid for them. However, the gift must be deposited first. Toshakhana is a department under the cabinet department that stores gifts from all countries.
According to the rules, Imran Khan was also supposed to have deposited the graph set in Toshahana, in addition to gifts from several other countries that he had received. Kahn did not. He didn’t even keep the gifts. He sold them, but the state, which had given the khan as a gift, was very sorry. MBS was at the top of that list. Perhaps Graf was a close second to see himself drawn into this ignominious story.
graph galaxy
Graff is a high jewelry manufacturer founded in 1962 and is a famous brand known all over the world. This house prides itself on showmanship. Their diamonds are without a doubt the best in the world, which is readily apparent from the mine owner and founder’s knowledge of stones. Most of its high jewelry collections are priced over $100,000.

Star of Bombay, acquired by Lawrence Graf in 1974
This is the house that once owned one of Golconda’s most famous jewels, the Star of Bombay. Lawrence Graff purchased the 47.39-carat stone, which was “once set in the regalia of a maharaja,” from a European dealer in 1974. Their jewelry adorns the wrists, ears, and necks of some of the world’s wealthiest people, and the auction houses that then pass on their legacies.
This is the galaxy that the graph is gliding through. It fell short of Imran Khan’s star by millions.
