check-in
I took an airport taxi and headed to the hotel. This hotel is a wonderful piece of architecture with a sense of space, tranquility and nature. The concierge team quickly opened the taxi door and welcomed me into a clean reception area, passing a concierge desk on one side and a bubbling body of water on the other before entering the hotel. There I met the wonderful Shirley who offered me a welcome drink and delicious lemon juice.
A week before our stay, we received a communication to complete a quick pre-arrival verification online, but we decided we would prefer to complete the process in person upon arrival. Shirley and I went through a quick check-in process and were assigned room 1124, Urban Deluxe King, on the 11th floor. You will be provided with two room keycards, one for the slot inside the room door that operates lights, air conditioning, etc. We also had to scan our key card in the elevator to access our room floor.
The reception area also featured a relaxing zone of comfortable seating and an extended office desk with power and USB points for guests who wanted to charge their devices while browsing the internet using the free super-fast Wi-Fi .
room
When I entered the Urban Deluxe King Room, it exceeded my expectations. Windows with button-operated blinds offered great views of the city. The warm and inviting rooms are decorated in neutral earth tones with light wood fixtures. These included a desk, open shelving, and two cupboards. Cupboard 1 had plenty of hanging space, a safe, iron, ironing board, laundry bag and associated list, and an umbrella to deal with a tropical storm, which certainly came into play during our four-night stay. The other cupboard contained a fully stocked minibar with a warning not to take anything out for a period of time or you would be automatically charged for the room. There was also free tea and coffee. The bed was large and very comfortable, with lovely white linens and a duvet.
The bathroom with walk-in shower opens into the main room, but can also be closed using the cleverly designed wooden sliding door. The toilet was separate. Complimentary toiletries such as toothpaste and shaving cream were provided in individual eco-friendly packaging and replenished daily. Shower soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions etc. were provided by Australian brand ‘Appelles’ with flavors such as sweet orange geranium. There was turndown service every night and a complimentary tray of local fruit was left on the desk.
If you book a COLLECTION room on the 16th floor, you’ll also have access to the lounge on that floor, where you can enjoy stunning 360-degree city views while enjoying snacks and snacks. The lounge also serves breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails.

A comprehensive breakfast is served every morning from 07:00 to 10:30 at Lime, the general restaurant on the first floor. Never have you seen such a wide variety of food options, including traditional full English, chef-cooked eggs, cereals, yogurt, sushi, cold meats, salads, Chinese donut sticks, DIY noodle stations, yellow dye, and more! I’ve never had one. , followed by a wide range of choices including yakitori and porridge chicken, nasi lemak and chai gour.
Lime is open for lunch and dinner and offers both buffet and à la carte menus. Reservations are always recommended. When I was there, they also had a “festive-themed feast to get you in the holiday spirit.” Lime promotes a great “Farm to Fork” incentive and has its own spore garden where they grow different types of mushrooms right in front of diners. There is also a bar on the ground floor offering a wide range of drinks.
On the fifth floor is St. Gregory Spa, offering a range of enticing treatments for body health, skin vitality, Asian and Oriental therapies, jet lag relief and Indonesian Balinese massages in a tranquil setting. I am. Also on this floor is an infinity pool, a fully equipped gym, separate changing rooms for men and women with steam rooms, and finally a garden walk. Complimentary blue towels were provided on arrival and there was a limited poolside drink menu to quench your thirst.

Surrounded by lush greenery, this wonderful eco-friendly hotel offers a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day exploring the city. The staff was attentive and the guest experience was great. Although we arrived early on the check-in date, we were still able to access the room and after a long flight it was very welcome.
