Pakistani politician and former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry called Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for carrying a bag with the word “Palestine” written on it to Parliament on Monday. Highly praised.

In a post on Priyanka Gandhi stood tall among the pigs, but it is a shame that no other member of Pakistan’s parliament has ever shown such courage. #thank you. ”

Expressing solidarity with Palestine, Congress lawmaker Priyanka Gandhi Vadra carried a bag with the word “Palestine” emblazoned on it to Parliament on Monday. The General Secretary of Parliament has vocally opposed Israel’s actions in Gaza and expressed support for the Palestinian people. Gandhi’s handbag also featured Palestinian symbols, including a watermelon, which is considered a symbol of Palestinian solidarity, PTI reported.

While criticizing the Wayanad MP, Bharatiya Janata Party Lok Sabha member Anurag Thakur thought about what message he wanted to send.

“She never said a word about the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh, but she wants to make a fashion statement with her Palestinian bag,” he claimed.

Asked about the Bharatiya Janata Party leader who had raised the ‘Palestinian’ bag issue, Priyanka Gandhi said, ‘We should do something about the atrocities happening against minorities (Hindus and Christians) in Bangladesh. I want them to know.” Please talk to the Bangladeshi government to stop these atrocities. ”

India’s position on the Israel-Gaza war

Earlier, on December 4, India voted in favor of a pivotal United Nations General Assembly resolution calling on Israel to withdraw from Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem. The vote was taken as part of the ongoing global debate on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The resolution, titled “Peaceful Settlement of the Palestine Question”, was introduced by Senegal and overwhelmingly supported by the United Nations General Assembly.

What else could one expect from the granddaughter of a freedom fighter like Jawaharlal Nehru? Priyanka Gandhi stood proudly among the herd of pigs.

In addition to supporting Palestinian rights, India also supported a resolution calling for Israel’s withdrawal from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. He emphasized that Israel’s settlement construction and other activities in the Syrian Golan, which has been under occupation since 1967, are illegal.

Abed Elrazeg Abu Jazel, Charge d’Affaires at the Palestinian Embassy in New Delhi, last week asked Gandhi to congratulate the Congress leader who won from Wayanad in Kerala in the recent Lok Sabha by-election. Ta.

In early June, Gandhi lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling him “barbaric” over the Israeli government’s “genocide” in Gaza.
