NEW DELHI: At a time when China, India, Turkey and Iran are producing military equipment and weapons of various calibers domestically, Pakistan too is seeking to reduce and taper its dependence on other countries for its defense-related needs. It is reported that he has started a project. Develop and deploy domestically produced fighter aircraft.

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is poised to significantly strengthen its air combat capabilities, as assessed by defense experts. To this end, PAF is working on the development of the JF-17 Block 4 jet, scheduled to be launched in 2028.

The JF-17 Block 4 is an advanced fighter aircraft and is said to be an integral part of the ambitious PF-X (Pakistan Fighter Experiment) program. This is a significant advancement from the baseline JF-17 Thunder, which is a fourth-generation multi-role fighter.

The JF-17 Thunder was jointly developed by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and China’s Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC). The JF-17 can be used in multiple roles including interception, ground attack, anti-ship, and air reconnaissance.

Pakistan is also working to strengthen its naval assets and establish its presence in the seas. The Pakistani regime, together with the Pakistan Navy, is determined to dynamically promote the defense sector and make it largely self-reliant.

To this end, the Government of Pakistan has a strong interest in the PF-X program, which demonstrates its commitment to military aviation independence and technological advancement.

The JF-17 Block 4 jet could carry two to four internal Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missiles (BVRAAMs), which would improve stealth by concealing the weapon during the early stages of an engagement. I will.

The main test is to increase internal space for weapons while maintaining the aircraft’s agility and performance.

The news that the JF-17 Block 4 will debut in 2028 has sparked huge interest in this aircraft, with all major companies considering the complex issue of Pakistan integrating advanced technologies such as stealth capabilities and internal weapons systems. People will be paying attention to how they will overcome this. A single system is achieved without increasing manufacturing costs.
