Nike is fueling a new era of running-inspired design with the launch of the Air Superfly. It’s a sophisticated sportswear silhouette reintroduced 25 years after its founding as a modest racing trainer.

Rooted in Nike’s running history, the modern Air Superfly advances the construction of the original trainer and advances today’s athletic style from the early days of yesteryear’s fans sophisticated to female athletes and sneaker fans. It has been modernized.

“Now, 25 years later, it feels like the perfect time to reintroduce Air to a new generation, and let this unique silhouette steal the show.” Ellen Lekas says. “Racing trainers like this one are lower to the ground, more minimalist, lightweight and really sleek. We brought back the model. Today’s woman.”

Debuted by Nike athlete Shai Kali Richardson in November, unveiled at last month’s SNKRS Showcase, and worn by global trendsetters, the Les Pull Air Superfly is a streamlined shoe that hugs your foot for all-day comfort. Promises low profile design.

The unique reverse seam construction provides a smoother fit and removes the need for a sportswear silhouette from traditional sock liners, resulting in a minimal feel designed for everyday movement. Perforated medial and lateral quarter panels are true to the original Superfly design and promote breathability and lightweight performance, while the original outsole mimics the distinctive green dots of the 2000’s Era Track spike placement I will.

A hidden Nike Air unit and Cushlon foam midsole provide core comfort for Nike’s running-inspired sportswear silhouette, while a leather and synthetic suede upper is the perfect addition to the Air Max Muse, another new new Muse. The Nike Air Style for Women offers a premium look and feel highlighted by a shared metallic silver launch colorway colorway.

“The most exciting part of bringing the Air Superfly to life was landing on the colors and materials the shoe would take on,” says Thomasin Hummerstone, Director of Footwear Product Creation for Women’s Sportswear. “This shoe has an amazing chameleon-like quality that allows it to take on so many different personalities depending on how you color and embody it. This is from the Metallic Silver Launch Colorway This is a modern evolution of silvery anthracite from the original design.

The Nike Air Superfly will be available worldwide on January 28th at SERECT NIKE RETAIL PARTNERS and on February 7th on SNKRS.
