Galaxy S25 series customers are likely to receive valuable free offers that were previously only available to Google Pixel owners.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 devices could come bundled with up to a year of free Google Gemini Advanced AI subscriptions worth up to $239.88, according to a new Android Authority report published by teardown specialist Assemble Debug. It is said that there is (see below).
Neither Samsung nor Google have officially announced this offer, but a code string within the latest Google app beta says that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series smartphones will also be available from 3 months to 1 month depending on the specific smartphone model. It suggests that you get the annual Gemini Advanced subscription.

What is Gemini Advanced?
Gemini Advanced is Google’s subscriber-only AI chatbot service that provides access to Google’s latest and most powerful models. The standard version is free to use, but Gemini Advanced requires an expensive ongoing subscription. Therefore, the bundled Gemini Advanced subscription adds great value to your smartphone purchase.
Not just Gemini Advanced
Gemini Advanced’s offer could include more than just access to Google’s best AI models. Gemini Advanced is currently only available as part of Google’s $19.99 monthly AI Premium Google One plan, which is worth $239.88 annually.
This subscription tier comes with 2TB of Google One storage, advanced AI integrations within Google apps like Gmail and Docs, premium Google Workspace features, and 10% back in the Google Store.
The information available so far does not state that Galaxy S25 owners will receive a full Google One AI premium subscription, as that is the deal that Pixel 9 customers received. There is no way for Google to subscribe to Gemini Advanced other than using Google One AI Premium, especially for Samsung customers at this time.
Updated January 2: There are some important details to note about Google’s existing Gemini Advanced trial and how it affects Samsung Galaxy S25 series customers.
If Samsung’s Gemini Advanced free trial is the same as the one offered to Google Pixel 9 Pro customers, there are a few important things to keep in mind. Not everyone is eligible for this offer. You also can’t order a Galaxy S25 Ultra and return it for a 1-year subscription to Google One AI Premium.
Google’s official terms and conditions for the Gemini Advanced subscription bundled with the Pixel 9 Pro offer includes the following important details:
Users must be 18 years of age or older. Google One accounts cannot be claimed through third parties (such as Apple or network operators). This offer does not apply to members of Pixel Pass or Google One family plans. This benefit does not apply to Google One members on 5 TB plans or higher. Unless canceled early, the offer will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period. Returning a purchased device may result in cancellation of your subscription.
Learn more about how Google’s free Gemini Advanced trial works for Google Pixel 9 series owners. I expect something very similar to be offered to Galaxy S25 series customers, but we won’t know for sure until Samsung officially announces the deal.
