PK Subban is known for his brief opinions on everything in the sport. The former Canadian hockey player did not write down any words about the recent inactivity of the National Basketball Association. In a recent episode of ESPN’s Get Up, National Hockey League analysts have some lessons to give NBA players.

Basketball and hockey penalty sub-ban

According to the awful announcement, Subban compared the fierce game of the 4 Nations face-off tournament with the NBA All-Star Game.

Calling hockey a “different game” from basketball, Subban argued that he cannot “pass through hockey moves” as he can in the NBA.

Subban asks NBA players about motivation

The former Canadian defensive man had quite a few words to share about how the NBA is slowing down in terms of bringing the thrill to his audience. Subban asked the basketball players what they were playing for. Comparing the sport to hockey, analysts said hockey players are inspired by the people playing next to them and make their best efforts.

He began to explain how hockey players remained on the field, even after getting injured, because it was the culture of the game. This gave the sport an authenticity that resonated with the fans. He insisted that fans had to “fight from time to time” for their country as they had paid to watch them compete. Subban said the NBA has no real authenticity at the moment.

Analysts compared the load management of the two sports, saying that NBA players place important games for road management, and have a negative impact on their relationship with fans. He called on the association and its members to see the situation better and improve things.

Why did PK Subban compare the NBA to the NHL?

The former hockey player had heard his opinion on the outlook for a US vs. world style match in the NBA All-Star Game. Giannis Antetokounmpo is a supporter of this idea. However, Subban didn’t feel that NBA players were well motivated to face off against other countries.

PK Subvan for Conor McDavid’s suspension

Recently, Subban commented on Conor McDavid’s three-game suspension in his head of Conor Garland’s Crosscheck in Vancouver. Subban allegedly McDavid was unfairly suspended, and that officials should have intervened before the situation became uncontrollable.
