Morocco to cull 3 million stray dogs ahead of 2030 FIFA World Cup: Report | First Post Africa | N18G

Morocco will make history by becoming the second African country to host the FIFA World Cup. The North African country is in the preparation stages to co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal. This major sporting event is expected to boost the economy and global reputation. But Rabat has been making headlines for some very wrong reasons. Morocco plans to cull three million stray dogs ahead of the World Cup in a bid to make its cities “better for fans”, according to reports. However, many of the fans, who are also animal lovers, are furious about the animal abuse. See the report for more information.
