Leh, January 13, 2025: Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Dr. Pawan Kotwal reviews expenditure under SDP/National Capital Expenditure and formulates strategy for utilization of additional 400 million budget announced by Ministry of Finance for UT. Dr. Safdar Ali, Director of Finance, gave a comprehensive presentation on the budget estimates and revised budget estimates for the financial year 2024-25. It was announced that the capital budget of LAHDC has been restored to Rs 344 million each and the remaining funds have been reallocated as per the requirements of various departments.
Advisor Dr. Pawan Kotwal emphasized on the collective efforts of officials towards transparency, accountability and efficiency in resource utilization and ensured that every rupee spent contributes significantly to the overall development of Ladakh.
