Louis Vuitton has announced the latest installment of its YouTube series Shaping Fashion, featuring a conversation between Women’s Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière and acclaimed actress Cate Blanchett. The episode, which premiered on November 22, celebrates 10 years of innovative design under Ghesquière’s creative leadership.

In this 10-minute special, longtime House friend Blanchett joins journalist Lynn Hershberg for a lively discussion that delves into the creative minds of both artists. Conversations are woven through shared artistic inspirations, musical tastes, and connections to fashion luminaries Irving Penn and Anna Wintour. The two also reflect on their memorable Met Ball experience and discuss their mutual commitment to sustainable fashion through reimagining well-worn pieces.

The fourth episode of the “Shaping Fashion” series continues Louis Vuitton’s tradition of combining tradition and innovation. Since 1854, the Maison has maintained its founder’s vision of creating practical yet elegant designs, expanding from travel accessories to a comprehensive luxury lifestyle brand that includes ready-to-wear, jewelry and fragrance.

The episode will be available exclusively on Louis Vuitton’s official platforms, giving viewers a glimpse into the artistic dialogue between two influential figures in the worlds of fashion and film.
