A reality series featuring Indian hairstylists will air on JioCinema

mumbai, india, March 28, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — L’Oréal Professionnel, the professional hair technology brand, is set to introduce the iconic Indian Hairdressing Awards in an all-new format – a reality series streaming exclusively on JioCinema. Since 2014, the Indian Hairdressing Awards have celebrated the art and skill of professional hairstyling. This contest recognizes and recognizes hairstylists from all over the country. This year’s issue was published by August 2023 and received 100K Entry to the theme “Metamorphosis” that expresses the transformation of reality.

From the thousands of hairdressers who participated in the competition, 89 finalists from each region were selected to compete on their technical skills. These were judged by a distinguished jury of international hair artists and beauty media representatives.

The top 12 hairstylists are from cities like Indore, Kanpur and Rajkot. kolkataLudhiana, new delhiChandigarh, bangaloreand mumbaiwill now compete in the massively expanded L’Oréal Professionnel Salon. A glittering panel featuring renowned filmmakers will be presented to judge their art and craft – karan johar, Min KimL’Oréal Professionnel Global Color Ambassadors and an exciting line-up of Bollywood celebrities. For the first four episodes, guest judges Harnaaz Sandhu and Alaiya F. will join the jury.

Twelve hair pros take on three challenges that test their skill and creativity in real-life transformations through hair color, haircuts, and styling. Hairstylists need to achieve the ultimate freedom of self-expression and offer bold, sophisticated and unconventional styles. Both judges and consumers score these assignments. They will then compete in front of a live audience in the grand finale, which will also be streamed on JioCinema on April 22, 2020.

The excitement doesn’t end there! Viewers can watch the action-packed episode on JioCinema. The four episodes are March 29, 2024. To watch the show, just download the JioCinema app and log in.
