North Korean soldiers were “brought back” to fight on the frontlines of the Kursk region after reports that foreign soldiers had withdrawn after their increased losses, Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelensky said.
At the video address of the nightly video yesterday, Zelensky said:
“A significant number of opposition forces have been eliminated, and “We’re talking about hundreds of Russian and North Korean soldiers.”
It comes when Ukraine launches a new attack within Russia’s Kursk Oblast, expanding its invasion of Russian territory by three miles.
Kyiv’s new invasion came on the anniversary of the six months of the first attack within Kursk. One Russian military blogger explained that it would come “like a bolt from the blue.”
The intrusion was also reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, saying Ukrainian forces and armored vehicles had fired several attacks near the villages of Uranok and Cerkaskaya Konoperka.
Next week, Donald Trump is likely to meet Zelensky to discuss the Ukrainian war to fight off Russian invaders.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have been disconnected from the IPS/UPS joint network and are subject to last-minute testing, and they will sync with the 1200 GMT EU grid after driving on their own on Sunday.

A plan to separate the former Soviet overlords from the grid debated for decades following the annexation of Crimea in Moscow in 2014.

David Lamy says he doesn’t see an imminent end to the Ukrainian war
David Lamy said despite Donald Trump’s pledge to end the war under his second administration, there is no hope of an imminent end to Ukrainian war with Russia.
While in Ukraine, Ramie met President Volodymia Zelensky, made a statement as peace negotiations begin at a security conference in Munich next week.
“I don’t know if we’re a few weeks away from the peace talks, and because we’re sure our assessments are shared by the US, Putin never sees his desire for negotiations. , I say it’s about ending this war,” he told the Guardian.
“We are still deep in winter. The truth is that the young men and women who make up the Ukrainian army are fighting on the ground for the future of their country, which will last for months…
“It is pretty clear that Ukrainians will not have a ceasefire before negotiations. So I don’t expect a ceasefire anytime soon in this war. It is very difficult that Putin does not show his desire to negotiate at this time. It’s clear to me. So, sadly, I think this war of attrition will still last for several months.”
