Two Labour MPs have been suspended via a message from the WhatsApp group.

Gorton and Denton MP Andrew Gwynn and Burnley MP Oliver Ryan have been suspended by Labour, who allegedly sent inappropriate messages to the group.

But what do we know about the scandal? Why did you take control of British politics?

Let’s take a closer look:

what happened?

The “Trigger ME Timbers” in the WhatsApp group is located in the center of the column.

According to the standard UK, all members of the group are thought to come from the Manchester area.

As independent, local councillors had attracted the party’s attention by the WhatsApp group about a year ago.

According to Sunday’s mail, Gwyn, 50, is believed to have made racist comments about fellow Labour MP Diane Abbott and sexist comments about Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner.

Gwyn, former campaign chief for Jeremy Corbyn and former Attorney General, is believed to have said he hoped that pensioners would die shortly after asking about their garbage collection.

According to Miller UK, the 72-year-old Pension recipient in Stockport wrote to a local councillor:

Gwynne is said to have written a mock replies to complaints from components of the WhatsApp group.

“Dear Resident, f*** Your Bin. I was re-elected and re-elected without your vote. Damn it. PS: Hopefully you’ll do it by the whole (Council election). It made it ring,” Gwyn wrote.

He is also allegedly a joke about another constituent being “maked” on the truck.

According to the standard UK, Gwynn wrote: We weren’t that lucky! ”

After one member of the group, he spoke about Diane Abbott, the first black legislator to represent Labour, and then asked, “Who’s ready for Diane at PMQ?” Gwyn replied, “Yeah, that black history month is obvious.”

According to the independent, Gwyn was also said to have made an anti-Semitic joke.

According to standard UK, Ryan worked for Gwyn.

The gay Ryan is believed to have made a joke about the sexuality of another male Labour MP.

Ryan is also believed to have used an offensive moniker to refer to local Labour leader Colin Bailey.

Gwyn and Ryan were both suspended from the Labour Party, with the former being fired as deputy health ministers.

Independent people cited Greater Manchester police, who said “non-crime hate cases” were recorded and that they said they were investigating them.

Both men apologise, and Tory demands exile

Both Gwyn and Ryan apologised.

Gwynne writes to X: I have served the Labour Party for the rest of my life, and being appointed pastor by Kiel Starmer was a great honor.

“I fully understand the decisions taken by the Prime Minister and the party and it is very sad that they have been suspended, but I will support them as much as I can.”

Ryan writes about X: “From 2019 to early 2022, I was a member of the WhatsApp group created by MP and former employer Andrew Gwynne. Some of the comments made in that group were completely unacceptable, , I blame them completely. I regret not saying that at the time and realize that I would have been wrong if I didn’t.

“I haven’t seen all the messages, but I accept the responsibility of not being willing to challenge what was said. I also deeply regret it myself and would not do today. I’ve made some comments in, and for that, I sincerely apologize. I will fully cooperate with the Labour Party’s investigation.”

Sky News quoted Housing Minister Matthew Pennycook as saying that an investigation into the “wide incident” is being conducted.

“Personally, I don’t know what other people said in that WhatsApp conversation. I’m very clear and there’s an investigation into the entire incident,” he said.

“The ability to dismiss Andrew Gwyn from the way the Prime Minister acted decisively in this case is to act in favor of the highest standards in public office in the event of a shortage of other Labour MPs or ministers. is.”

Asked about the anti-Semitism message, Pennycook added: I don’t think anyone has any doubts about this Prime Minister or this government’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in public office and eradicating anti-Semitism from the Labour Party, roots and branches. ”

A government source said outlet Ryan’s comments were “unacceptable and extremely unfortunate.”

The source added, “The action is not off the table.”

A government spokesperson told The Mirror: He does not hesitate to take action against ministers who do not meet these standards, as in this case.

But it doesn’t appease the Conservatives. It calls for the expulsion of both lawmakers.

Independent MP Richard Holden, Shadow Paymaster General, said, “It has been revealed how deep corruption is within Keir Starmer’s Labour Ir, as he has been suspended for despicable remarks in two days.

“However, IR Kiel is not trying to clean this under the carpet now. He needs to show some leadership and do the right and decent things and expel both.

“What’s less than that shows that his commitment to integrity is nothing more than lip service from the Labour Party.”

There is an input from the agent
