Guwahati (Assam) (India), February 15 (ANI): Assam government will sign two memorandums (Mous) with Japan and Singapore at the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investor Summit, Prime Minister Himantabiswasarma said on Saturday Ta.

CM Salma, who attended a press conference in Guwahati, said Japan was interested in recruiting talent from Assam, which was initially about 50,000 workers, but Singapore was trying to hire nurses from the state. There is.

“Bhutan wants to set up my filling city Jerev. I request that the Bhutan government create a special industrialized economic zone in Assam,” CM Salma said.

“During my recent visit to Singapore, I met the President of Singapore, which is Assam’s perception,” he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin and address the Assam 2.0 Conclave advantage on February 25th, with Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar also taking part in the theme session.

Advantage Assam 2.0 will be held from February 25th to 26th.

Prime Minister Assam said the state will focus on attracting investment in key sectors such as tourism, renewable energy, semiconductors, aerospace and defense manufacturing, flavoring and taste, bamboo.

He further said that ambassadors from 31 countries are expected to participate in the event.

The Assam CM also invited Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to the Conclave Closing Ceremony.

According to Assam CM, the first event will include Tata’s son, Chairman N Chandrasekaran, Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal, JSW Chairman Sajang Jindal, Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani and other leaders in top industry is there.

Additionally, global business councils such as the US and India Business Councils, the New Zealand and India Business Councils, and the UAE and India Business Councils will be participating with representatives from the European Union.

Ahead of the summit, the Assam government will celebrate 200 years of Assam tea and industrialization on February 24th.
