Padel After witnessing unprecedented growth over the past few years, it is becoming a very popular item in Italy. What began with just a handful of courts is now rapidly transforming into a national phenomenon.
SGI Europe reports are projected by 4,000 indoor courts that 10,000 courts are expected to be operating by the end of 2025.
This rapid expansion highlights Padel’s growing appeal among sports enthusiasts and athletes of all ages.
The sport has found space within Italian athletic culture, as the game includes physical fitness, strategic gameplay and vibrant social interactions. Its dynamic nature challenges the body, stimulates the mind, and develops friendship among participants.
Last month, Prime Minister Padel released his calendar in 2025, revealing that Europe will be holding several tournaments between June and October. The calendar also includes highlights from four major tournaments in Qatar, Italy, France and Mexico. Italian Foot will be held in June.
