Is the bubble skirt the next big thing in 2025? Here’s how to style it

There is always skepticism to revive past trends, especially when it relates to the early 2000s. This is remembered for its chaotic fashion choices and red carpet missteps. But the 2020s have changed that story. Designers, influencers and celebrities are regaining Y2K elements with a modern, more refined twist. Thinking about the flats of MiuMiu ballet, promotion of low-rise denim, and Gen Z’s reimagined Y2K aesthetics.

Another trend we’ve seen revival is the bubble hem. While designers seem to love it, millennials will probably fear a revival of the styling disaster. The well-collared loose hem look allows you to turn your head, but it’s very easy to slip into clothing mistakes.

Bubble skirts and dresses are in themselves part of wearable art when styled like flavor. How to style, do you ask? We did our job for you. Scroll down to find the DO skirt when styling your bubble skirt and run the trend.

Let’s start with things to avoid:

Heavy accessories

The bubble skirt is the main character in a costume that doesn’t appreciate competition. The piece itself attracts attention, so adding heavy accessories doesn’t benefit. Rather, it looks cluttered. Choose minimal jewelry instead.

I’ll buy the right size

The puffy design can overwhelm the wearer, especially when it is large. Therefore, choose the right size for your waist and choose the hips for a flattering fit.

Bright is incorrect

Bright colors can accentuate the most boring outfits. Orange, lemon yellow and magenta pink have that effect, but not when it comes to bubble skirts. Repeating the points again, the puffy design of the skirt makes them stand out well without adding jazz.

Please note some ways you can enhance your appearance:

Always monochrome

If there’s one way to style the over-the-top pieces correctly, it’s to go to monochrome. When you combine the bubble skirt with similar colors, it gives it a sophisticated and chic look. Look for White-on-White or Black-on-Black for a cohesive dress story. Of course, if you like colour, there’s nothing to stop you.

Throw a blazer

The bubble skirt is made up of a T, and all parts of his puffy part are well thought out. And normally
Structured pieces are often worn with other structured staples. Styling a wardrobe bubble skirt using a suitable, boxy or oversized blazer is one way to wear the skirt to the right.

Pair a mini skirt with knee-high boots

Bubble skirts are inherently very feminine and are practically synonymous with bows, lace and pearls when it comes to feminine design details. Try knee high boots in total black leather as an antidote to this feminine overdose.

Select the MIDI length

An easy and elegant way to get away without much effort in styling is to wear these skirts at MIDI length. These longer versions of Poofy Skirts have an air of charm that doesn’t require you to add pizza.
