Islamabad: Imran Khan, founder of Pakistan Teherek-e-Insuf (PTI), asks the party to launch a strong political movement after Ramzan, and contacts the two senior leaders to oppose the opponents The Express Tribune reported that he had given instructions.
Khan’s lawyer Faisal Chaudhry made the presentation while talking to reporters outside Adiala prison after meeting the founder of PTI. Faisal Chaudhry said the PTI has filed a petition with the Islamabad High Court to request an open trial. He argued that lawyers and journalists were electively permitted within the court.
“Attorneys and journalists are electively permitted within the courts. The judiciary is crushed and fundamental rights are infringed,” the Express Tribune said.
Imran Khan’s lawyers called the incident that took place on May 9, 2023 a false flag operation and called the independent Judiciary Committee to investigate the case.
He further stated, “We seek justice under the constitution and law. We oppose the Supreme Court bench’s remarks regarding military courts.” Faisal Chaudhry also cited Imran Khan to highlight Pakistan’s economic crisis and human rights abuses.
“The sacredness of the house has been violated by the crackdown on PTI. Basic human rights are trampled on. With media censorship and internet restrictions, who will invest in Pakistan?”
He argued that Pakistan suffered an economic loss of USD 45 million after the removal of the PTI and the Shebaz Sharif-led government prime minister formed “on the shoulder of Form 47.”
Last week, Imran Khan wrote a second open letter to Pakistan’s Chief of Staff (COAS) General Asim Munier, claiming that the country’s biggest political party is “being targeted.”

Referring to the first letter to the Army Chief, Khan argued that 90% of the people would support the six points they emphasized when consulted. In the letter, he argued that the government was set up by manipulating the election results through prior rigging.
“The authorities passed the 26th Constitutional amendment through Parliament, administering the judiciary and the PECA (Electronic Crime Prevention Act) to silence the opposition,” he added.
He noted that political instability and “strength is right” policies have plunged the country’s economy into chaos. According to a report by Geo News, Khan regretted that the country’s “large political parties” had been targeted and that all state agencies were used for political engineering and revenge.
Referring to his imprisonment, he claimed that he was left alone in captivity and robbed of sunlight for 20 days. “My exercise equipment, television and even newspapers have been taken away. They have restricted access to books at any time. In addition to these 20 days, I have been locked up for another 40 hours. The past 6 For a month, I was allowed to speak to my son only three times,” he added.
