Since then, you can now add certain features and apps to your pages, such as low power mode and notes. With iOS 18, you can add the apps and features you want to Control Center.

Here’s how to make your iPhone’s Control Center live up to its name.
How to add controls to Control Center in iOS 18
1. Unlock your iPhone and swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Tap the plus (+) sign in the top left corner of the screen.
3. Tap Add Control near the bottom of the screen.
There are many accessibility controls that you can add to Control Center.
You can search for controls in the search bar at the top of the new menu, or scroll through the various controls. Some of the controls include old favorites like Screen Recording, as well as new ones like Tap to Cash and Ping My Watch.
There’s also a shortcut called “Open App,” which turns other apps on your iPhone into controls. This control only lets you open apps, but you can use it to organize your home screen and keep all your favorite apps in one place for quick access.
Even after filling the page, you can add as many controls as you want to Control Center. After you fill out the first Control Center page, the next control you add appears on a new page. This is similar to how new home screens keep getting added as you add new apps to your home screen. To access other Control Center pages, swipe up or down on the Control Center or tap the appropriate page symbol at the far right of the Control Center screen.
When Apple released iOS 18.1, it added new separate connection controls to enable or disable things like VPN and Bluetooth. Prior to that update, these controls existed on the connection tile or the Connections page in Control Center, but you could not add them as their own controls.
How to customize apps and features in Control Center
You can also make the controls larger for easier access. Some controls can be converted to tiles, while others (such as music) can become their own Control Center pages. Here’s how to resize apps and features:
1. Unlock your iPhone and swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Tap the plus (+) sign in the top left corner of the screen.
In this new view, the border around each control becomes thicker in the lower right corner. Tap and drag this thick section to expand the controls.
You can resize many controls in Control Center.
You can rearrange the controls in this new view. Tap the plus (+) sign in the top-left corner of Control Center, then press and drag the control to its new home, just as you would from the home screen.
How to remove controls from Control Center
Here’s how to easily remove a control from Control Center if you no longer use it as much and want to make room for a new one.
1. Unlock your iPhone and swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Tap the plus (+) sign in the top left corner of the screen.
3. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner of the control you want to remove.
Can I reset Control Center?
yes! When Apple released iOS18.1 That November update introduced a way to reset Control Center to its original layout and factory defaults. By doing so, you can give your control center a fresh start.
Here’s how to reset Control Center:
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap “Control Center”.
3. Tap Reset Control Center.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
