Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru has witnessed several firsts. We and the Russian aircraft are displaying their skills on the same platform for the first time, but there are many other fighters that are attracting the attention of aviation enthusiasts. Swedish, German and Brazilian aircraft are on display at biennial shows, in addition to aircraft from the US and Russia.
This is a list of overseas aircraft participating in Aero India 2025.
F-16
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a multi-roll fighter developed by Lockheed Martin for the US Air Force. It is known for its agility, speed and advanced avionics.
It is one of the most widely exported fighter jets in over 25 countries. It has the ability to carry air and aerial missiles, bombs and 20mm cannons. It was part of several operations, including the Gulf War and the Afghan invasion. The US also supplied Ukraine with F-16 to enhance air defense.
F-35
This fifth-generation fighter jet is considered the backbone of the US Air Force. Developed by Lockheed Martin, this aviation advantage is developed by ground attacks, intelligence agency and electronic warfare. It is one of the most advanced fighter jets in the world.
Artificial Intelligence Support Targeting and network-centric warfare capabilities make the F-35 stand out from other aircraft. Software and hardware upgrades for this aircraft, including an AI-powered combat system, were a game changer.
For the first time at Aero India 2025, the F-35 hit the sky that demonstrated its maneuvering skills.
Sukhoi 57e

The Sukhoi 57e is a fifth generation stealth fighter developed by the Russian Sukhoi. It is considered a rival to the US F-22 Raptor and the F-35 Lightning II.
Known for its speed and range, the SU 57E ranges over 3,500 km. With AI-assisted combat systems, sensor fusion and electronic warfare capabilities, Russia aims to produce more such aircraft. They also show interest in exporting these products to India and China.

Embraer C-390 Millennium

Jas 39 Gripen
When stationed in a handsome position but devastating by its actions, the Saab Jas 39 Gripen is a fourth-generation multi-roll fighter developed by the Swedish Saab group.

It can take off and land on short runways and highways at speeds of 2,400 km/h and 3,200 km/h. It is considered a competitor of the Lafale, F-16 and Eurofighter types in the global defence market. It is known for its agility, advanced avionics, and cost-effectiveness, designed for aviation advantage, ground attacks, and reconnaissance.

Airbus A330 MRTT
The Airbus A330 MRTT (Multi-roll tanker transport), known as the “critical force multiplier,” is a strategic air supply and transport aircraft developed by Airbus defense and space.

The aircraft has a whopping 1.1 lark kg of fuel capacity and can carry military, tankers and huge materials. It is also used by more than 15 air forces, including the UK, Australia, German and French air forces. It can serve as a supporter of fighter and bomber aircraft due to its enormous operational capabilities. Based on the Airbus A330 commercial aircraft, it offers extended range refueling capabilities and strategic air transport for military operations. It can also be used for humanitarian assistance and medical evacuation.
Airbus A 440 m
The largest aircraft deployed in Aero India 2025 is the Airbus A400M Atlas, a tactical and strategic military transport aircraft run by the Luftwaffe. It has a payload capacity of 37 tons, and A 400 m is faster than traditional transport aircraft. It is used for military deployment, equipment transport and disaster relief. It is used in businesses in Afghanistan, Mali and Ukraine. Even helicopters and armored vehicles, including tankers and land, can be carried and taken off unprepared runways.
