The summit’s purpose is to address both the potential of AI and the concerns surrounding its development, particularly the balance between promoting innovation and ensuring responsible implementation.

The Paris AI Action Summit also witnessed the current launch of AI, collaborations between countries such as France and Germany, and industry giants such as Google and Salesforce.
With an initial $400 million funding, today’s AI will focus on public projects, including making high-quality data available to develop AI and investing in open source tools. The partnership aims to secure up to $2.5 billion in funding over the next five years.
Additionally, Macron announced during the summit that France will attract around 109 billion euros (approximately $113 billion) in private sector AI investments. This comes days after President Donald Trump said he had announced $500 billion in AI investment.
