FIFA has a tradition of announcing its own customized starting lineup, made up of players it considers to be the best in the world. Except this time, it’s pretty clear who they’re focusing on.
The recently released FIFA XI from the Best FIFA Football Awards 2024, reposted by Fabrizio Romano, features no Bundesliga players and, more importantly, no Bayern Munich players. Has not appeared.
The line-up includes Premier League stars such as Erling Haaland and Rodri, as well as La Liga stars such as Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior. Some would argue that Bayern players such as Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala are doing just as well. He had a good season, if not better than most players on that list. Kane has had an insane run in 2024 and it makes sense that he should be included in the best players list for 2024, even more so than Haaland.
Some fans will attribute this to the Bundesliga’s lack of PR or lack of publicity. It’s no secret that Bundesliga players often don’t get the attention of the football world, unless they’re talented players like Musiala, who attract attention across generations.
What do you think? Who deserves to be on that list? Let us know in the comments!
