Someone’s four-game winning streak has to go.
Today (Tuesday, December 24, 2024), MMAMAnia.com has confirmed to multiple sources that French Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight fighter Fares Giam will join the UFC in Saudi Arabia on February 1, 2025. He confirmed that he would clash with Mike Davis. The venue is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Xiam (16-4) got his first UFC finish in his last fight, and it was a bad one. At UFC Paris in September, Xiam sent Matt Frevola into shadow territory with an extremely brutal standing knee kick (see highlights). “Smile Killer” is 6-2 in promotional matches and is on a four-fight win streak with wins over Claudio Puerez and Jay Herbert.

Davis (11-2) defeated Natan Levy with an arm triangle in his last match. This was his only match of 2024 (he was scheduled to face Drew Dober, but was sidelined due to a torn bicep). Like his next opponent, “Beast Boy,” Davis is currently on a four-fight winning streak with wins over Viacheslav Borshchev and Mason Jones. His only loss was against Gilbert Burns.
