Kuzma of the Bucks: Over the past four seasons, Kuzma has been one of the main scorers on the wizard team with no playoff aspirations. This usually meant a lot of shots and a good offensive volume. However, his role with the Bucks is more similar to what he played when he played with the Lakers from 2019-20 to 2020-21. He will be an option for third-order scoring. This time, he will be performing Giannis Antetocomo and Damian Lillard in place of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. He is expected to stretch the floor out of his wings and help on the glass.
As far as expected, from 2020 to 21, Kuzma averaged 12.9 ppg (44.3 fg%, 36.1 ft%), 6.1 rpg and 2.0 3pg. That volume is far below his final few seasons in Washington (21.7 PPG over the last two seasons), but he’s not far away in this off-year (15.2 ppg). This level of production will improve the efficiency he expects from locations this season (42.0 fg%, 28.1 3p%) and land Kuzma as a Fringeflex/Streamer option for the Fantasy Hoop League.
Wizard Middleton: There are no expectations for fantasy hoops in Middleton in Washington. And even if he ultimately advances to another contender, Middleton has a long way to prove he’s healthy enough to resort to fantasy hoops in 2025. Unless you have a deep bench and you have a deep bench, we do not recommend posting Middleton on the roster with many patience and risks that you may not return to the roster. You can enjoy it. – Sniring
