For the past few years, New York Fashion Week’s lineup of designers seems to have gotten smaller and smaller each season. A growing number of labels are abandoning the twice-yearly NYFW shows and instead holding fashion weeks overseas. Some have even done away with runway spectacles altogether. But this season, some popular brands are making a comeback. Dear friends, we are back.
Christopher John Rogers will kick off New York Fashion Week’s Fall/Winter 2025 season with a bang on February 6th, returning to the official circuit for the first time in five years since his 2020 NYFW show. The Calvin Klein collection is also back, debuting on February 7th under new creative director Veronica Leoni (one of many designer shakeups for 2024).
The show will run from Thursday, February 6th to Tuesday, February 11th, with the return of even more NYFW favorites. Altuzarra, Fforme, Lapointe, Normakamali, and Theory will all return to the Fashion Week stage.

According to the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), this season’s lineup includes editor-favorite accessories brand Alexis Bitter, cutout clothing expert Gabe Gordon, and deadstock fashion designer Zoe Gustavia Anna.・Several NYFW newcomers, such as Whalen, are also expected to attract attention.
In addition to these newcomers, NYFW will of course host runway favorites. Sandy Liang, Brandon Maxwell, Lure, Laquan Smith, Christian Siriano, Collina Strada, Kim Shui, Sergio Hudson and more will perform throughout this week. Several popular legacy brands will also be in attendance, with Kite, Bevza, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Coach and Thom Browne showcasing their latest collections.

This season will also see New York Fashion Week’s flagship brands abandon their usual catwalks for more intimate events. Veronica Beard and Tanner Fletcher don’t choreograph traditional runway shows. Instead, the label will host a presentation that guests are free to view.
