Elon Musk’s father says Tommy Robinson “looks just like Michael Collins” and is “very likely” to become British Prime Minister one day.
His tech billionaire father Errol shares many of his views with his son and believes Robinson is now a “political prisoner”.
In fact, the far-right activist was jailed for repeatedly making false claims about Syrian refugees and found in contempt of court.
Robinson has a number of other convictions, ranging from assault and mortgage fraud to traveling on a false passport.
Nevertheless, Musk said he believes Robinson will receive a lot of support if he runs for office.
“If you study history, Tommy Robinson could very well be the future Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (sic),” he said. stiff shoulders.
“Like Michael Collins, like your Eamon de Valera.
“They all used to be criminals, but they became leaders of the country.”

Despite this, Musk admitted he was not a fan of Michael Collins, who became chairman of Ireland’s provisional government in 1922 after negotiating independence from Britain.
“Do you remember what kind of scoundrel Michael Collins was?” he asked.
“I think the British should have killed him from the beginning, don’t you think so?
“The villain, the rat. The lies he told.Do you remember all the lies he told? ”
child of empire
Mr Musk’s mother was born in South Africa in 1946 and is originally from Liverpool.
The family still has relatives in the UK, with Elon mentioning his grandmother in many of his tweets about British grooming gangs.
My British grandmother, Cora Amelia Robinson, was an important part of my childhood. Although he was a very strict person, he was kind and I always relied on him.
She grew up very poor in England during the Great Depression and was bombed during World War II. She cleaned to earn money for food…

“We can get British passports as well if we want,” Musk said.
“Passports are for travel, and so far (Elon) is one of those people who has immigrated to the world from English-speaking countries.
“In the past, when we had problems in various places like South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, we always had to turn to the UK for help.
“Maybe now it’s our turn to look at England and see if we can help.”

Musk also said that Irish people are “some of the kindest people I’ve ever met in my life” and that he would like to move to “amazing” Ireland someday.
“If I could, if I had the time, I would love to go to the bluegrass country where I saw the horse training facilities,” he said.
“We never leave and are there 24/7, year-round, year-round.
“Very nice. That’s what we do.”
Elon famously traveled to Dublin in 2013 to attend the Web Summit and ended up being taken to Coppers nightclub in “the most disgustingly dirty van.”
