Two-time Dubai Open champion Erina S Vitorina will face last year’s finalist Anna Karinkaya in the first round of the 2025 Dubai Open Championship on Sunday, February 16th.
Svitolina has a 5-3 victory record this season as she reached the quarterfinals at the Australian Open last month and after filming her first set, she lost to the final champion Madison Keys.
The 30-year-old Ukrainian was the second species at the Ladies Lintz Open in Upper Austria, but she was stumbling with a straight set of 4-6, 4-6 to Anna Brinkova in the first round. Last week she beat Markea Vondrousova 0-6, 6-2, 7-5 in the first round, but then suffered a 3-6, 6-7 (3) loss against Jessica Pegra Ta.
