Aquaventure World, Dubai’s premier waterpark and the record holder for the most waterslides in a single location, achieved yet another milestone at last weekend’s Guinness World Records Tour Challenge . Now, the park has set a new Guinness World Record for the most nationalities sliding down a waterslide in one hour. An incredible 90 countries jumped into the iconic “Leap of Faith” slider.
The record-setting weekend also featured an incredible feat by UAE athlete Manea Al Marzouki. He completed 41 backflips in one minute, surpassing the previous record of 30, and broke the Guinness World Records title for most backflips on a flyboard. His passion for water sports has seen him consistently rank at the top of the 2016 and 2017 DIMC UAE National Championships.
Visitors to the park could also try to break six Guinness World Record titles. Challenges ranged from water gun target competitions and inflatable ring races to beach paddle ball games. Eight successful participants went home with an official Guinness World Records certificate and unforgettable memories.
The crown jewel of Atlantis Dubai, Aquaventure World spans 22.5 hectares and boasts over 105 slides, attractions and experiences. It offers thrill-seekers the chance to enjoy record-breaking rides.
Aquaventure World has a long history of Guinness World Records. In 2022, Aquaventure World set a record for the most waterslides in a waterpark with 50 slides, surpassing the previous 41.
