Drake’s October’s Very Own brand teases a collaboration with the National Football League ahead of Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show performance.
Drake x NFL collaboration coming soon
On Tuesday (Dec. 10), Drizzy’s OVO brand shared a post to its Instagram Stories revealing an upcoming partnership with the NFL. In the post below, there appear to be two sports jackets. Blue represents the National Football Conference and red represents the American Football Conference. The promotion also features the NFL and OVO logos with the date December 13, 2024.
This isn’t the first collaboration between a rapper and a sports brand. His OVO company also had an NBA collaboration featuring NBA-branded OVO merchandise.

Does the NFL play both sides?
The announcement of the collaboration comes two months before Drake’s rival Kendrick Lamar is scheduled to headline the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, and comes as the league is in the midst of a last-ditch plan. This indicates that both artists may be trying to incorporate it.
Kendrick Lamar has been chosen to perform at the big game in New Orleans in February, including Drake’s former label boss Lil Wayne, who has given him the chance to take center stage at the Super Bowl. Some people are furious, including those who felt entitled. Weezy even went so far as to say that the opportunity was taken away from him during his performance at the Lil Weeziana Festival in November.
After all the excitement in the spring, love hasn’t developed between K-Dot and Drake. Drake recently announced that he will be kicking off his Anita Max Wynn Tour on the same day Kendrick is scheduled to perform at the Super Bowl.
