Director Shankar has given clarity about his next major project, Indian 3. In an interview, he revealed that work on Indian 3 will begin soon and the film is expected to be completed within just six months.
In an interview with Behindwoods, he said: If you start now, you can have it finished and released within 6 months. There is extensive VFX work and some patchwork filming. ”
Shankar recently faced setbacks in both ‘Indian 2’ and ‘Game Changer’. While ‘Indian 2’ did poorly at the box office, ‘Indian 3”s end credits teaser created a lot of buzz.
Recently in another interview, he spoke about the failure of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’. In an interview with the Tamil magazine Vikatan, he said that he did not expect the negative reviews that Indian 2 received.
Director Shankar said, “I tried to convey good thoughts. If I do that, I will be happy.” “If the house is clean, the country will also be clean” is a wonderful and necessary idea. How this can be achieved in practice is a question, but it is still important. ”
Meanwhile, Rika Productions reportedly tried to stop the release of his latest film ‘Game Changer’ in Tamil Nadu citing the unfinished status of ‘Indian 3’. The production of Indian 2 also faced delays due to creative differences, but after Red Giant’s intervention, the film was back on track.
This is the trailer for his latest work, Game Changer.
The much-awaited sequel to the 1996 classic Indian will see Kamal Haasan reprise his role alongside Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh and SJ Surya. The story of Indian 3 will delve into the origins of Senapathy’s father Veerasekaran Balaram. Both characters are played by Kamal Haasan.
