Punjabi star singer Diljit Dosanjh has shared a series of stills on social media from the much-awaited film ‘Punjab 95’, based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Kalra, which will be released in cinemas next month. suggested that it might be possible.

‘Punjab 95’ is directed by Honey Trehan and produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s banner RSVP Movies. According to reports, the film ran into trouble with the Central Film Certification Board (CFBC) and its release was delayed. It also stars Arjun Rampal of Kohraa fame and Suvinder Vicky.

Dosanjh, who recently completed ‘Dil Luminati India Tour’, shared a picture from the film on his Instagram page on Saturday. “I venture into the darkness. ‘Punjab ’95’ in February,” he wrote.

Punjabi 95 was scheduled to have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2023, but it was removed from the lineup without an official statement from the organizers.

Kalra investigated the cremations of thousands of unidentified bodies in Punjab over a 10-year period from 1984 to 1994.
