After a modest election among voting members of the Democratic National Committee, the majority chose Minnesota Democratic Party Chairman Farmer Laborg as the party’s next chairman.
Ken Martin emerged as the early frontline of the race and gained significant support, but the challenges from Wisconsin Democrats Chairman Ben Wickler and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley were among the parties. He showed that he still had doubts about his leadership.
But in the end, Martin won with his acceptance speech at the DNC Winter Conference, repeatedly saying that Democrats were not a party divided during his tenure. “We have a team, one team, a Democrat. There’s no one fight here.”
After President Trump takes office, Martin takes over as the Washington party is out of power.
Martin inherits the Kuomintang device that promoted record funding, recording investments in data and organizing resources that have led to more coordinated infrastructure with state and local Democrats.
But he also answered how Democrats lost the party in November and created a strategy on how to handle the avalanche of enforcement actions Trump unleashed in his first two weeks at the White House. I’ll take it over when I have to.
In particular, DNC chairs have been female and/or people of color since 2011. Martin will now become the first white man to lead the Kuomintang since Sen. Tim Kane.
Who ran to the chair?
Eight people were eligible to vote for DNC chairperson, including Longshot presidential candidate Marianne Williamson, former campaign manager for Sen. Bernie Sanders, and former Maryland governor O’Malley.
However, the general consensus among voting members was that it was chosen between Democrats, Chairman Martin of the Farmera Ball Party of Minnesota and Chairman Wickler of Wisconsin.
Of the 428 votes cast, Martin scored 246.5, Wickler scored 134.5, and O’Malley scored 44. The remaining three votes were sent to other candidates.
How about other offices?
DNC members will elect three vice-chairmen, treasurer, secretary and national finance committee chairperson, vice-chairmen for civic engagement and voter participation.
The party’s rules also state that “DNC officers are divided viablely equally depending on gender.” This means that candidates for the three vice-chair positions may be restricted based on who wins the other positions.

At the individual forum in Detroit in January, more substantive discussions include candidates for vice-chairman, former President Joe Biden ran for reelection before dropping out of the race in less than three months before the election. There was more criticism of it.
Roadley’s Providence Mayor Joe Paolino said that Biden did a “great job” in his first term, but if he didn’t run again, “there could have been a primary and then going through that review process. I could have done that.”
Gun control activist David Hogg said there was a problem with those who called for Biden to come aside before the party finally made a decision.
“We shouldn’t be a cult, not a cult,” he said. “We are increasingly becoming a party of subtractions rather than additions.”
Who voted for DNC leadership?
Currently, the DNC has 448 voting members, but there is no official public list, but more than half of the voting population comes from chairs, vice-chairs and national committee members of each state and the US territory. As a Democrat overseas.
Heads of related groups, such as the Young Democrats in America, are also members. The rest are large members, including longtime party figures, union leaders and others with ties to Biden.
