Australian cricket may have dominated ICC events and won the most trophies, but there is no doubt that Indian cricket is considered the cash cow of the sport. Over the past two decades, Indian cricket has grown by leaps and bounds, challenging Australia and other top nations on every front. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has played a major role in the rise of cricket in India. In the form of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the BCCI also provided the cricket world with a franchise-based top-level T20 league. So even when Australian cricketers were asked their opinion about the Indian board, they had nothing but good things to say.
In a video shared on social media, several Australian cricketers were asked to define BCCI, ICC and Indian cricket as a whole in one word each. We got some great responses.
Answer order: BCCI, ICC, Indian cricket
Pat Cummins: Big, big, big
Travis Head: Rulers, Second, Strong
Usman Khawaja: strong, ICC, talented
Nathan Lyon: Big, Boss, Passionate
Glenn Maxwell: Powerful, Bossy, Fanatic
Matthew Carey: Powerful, Trophy, Powerful
Steve Smith: Powerhouse but not very powerful (changed to leader)

People like Head and Smith probably had the most interesting answers. Mr Head did not compromise his verdict, but Mr Smith later decided to change his response, calling the original verdict a “joke”.
The Indian and Australian teams are currently engaged in a five-match Test series, with the score at 1-1 after the first three matches. India won the opening Test in Perth, but Australia came back to win the battle of bat and ball in Adelaide. The two teams are next scheduled to meet in Melbourne, with matches starting on December 26.
