Material Manufacturer Kovestro (Germany, Leverkusen) has concluded a partnership with Goby Technology Co., which is a subsidiary of Guangzhou Motor Group (GAC, Guangzhou, China), and has jointly promoted the innovation of the airlight material. More particularly promotes electricity materials. Vertical takeoff and landing (EVTOL) aircraft. This collaboration aims to accelerate the commercialization of new materials solutions that enable more efficient and sustainable urban air mobility (UAM).

COVESTRO is one of eight companies, including a partner in the AI field, low altitude aerial and carbon fiber composite information (Tuanyuan Composits, which is based in China), and signed a memorandum (MOU) with Govy. 。 GAC subsidiary dedicated to the development of EVTOL aircraft. As an important partner in this project, Kesbsoro has expertise in high -performance materials and sustainable solutions.

“We promise to spread the boundaries of innovation and promise to bring the future of mobility to reality,” says Su Qingpeng, a Govy general manager. “By partnering with Kovestro and leaders in other industries, you can accelerate the development of flying cars.”

China has made a major progress in the development of EVTOL aircraft, utilizing the progress of battery technology to integrate these innovations into urban transport systems. These vehicles are designed for short -range city travel, and the current models are suitable for inter -city commuting.

Under the contract, CoveStro and Govy will cooperate in several priority areas. The main initiative includes the development of polycarbonate grazing solutions to reduce vehicle weight while maintaining high performance and safety standards, and searching for smart and efficient lighting systems that match the requirements of EVTOL aircraft. Masu. This collaboration also supports high -performance materials that enable seamless integration of smart systems and components. The emphasis is on the low -carbon solution. This reduces the amount of life cycle of the vehicle by using a material with a biological circulation content and a recycled raw material.

At the signature ceremony, a demonstration car was announced with a range of 200 kilometers in just 40 minutes. This prototype introduces a hybrid design that integrates both the fixing wings and rotating wings, combining a conventional forward flight efficiency with the vertical takeoff of helicopters and landing. Reservations for such a model will start in 2025.
