Humanoid robots have been invited in April to participate in the Beijing half marathon.
The 21km racing includes more than 12,000 human runners developed by manufacturers around the world and more than 20 humanoid robots.
According to the local organizer Beijing Economic Technology Development Area (E-Thown), competing robots resemble humans and need to move only through bipedal walking or driving instead of operating wheels.
International robot comparable to humans
Humanoid robots need to be measured between 0.5 to 2 meters in height and have a maximum extension from the hip joint to the 0.4 meters of foot sole.
E-Town also stated that remote control and completely autonomous humanoid mixture can be qualified for events, and manufacturers can exchange robots during races.
Robots, research institutes, universities, and robot clubs created by domestic and international companies are invited to participate in events.

Humanoid Robot Tian Gon participated in the Beijing Half Marathon last October.
According to e-town, it is the first time that humans and humanoid robots have completed a full session half marathon together.
In October last year, the Humanoid Robot, known as Tian Gon, joined the last 100 -meter of the Beijing Half Marathon as a rabbit. This is a pacer running term at the end of the race to make the competitors motivated. Finish line.
A few weeks later, a four -legged robot dog known as RaiBO2 completely completed Sangju Dry Perimmon Marathon in Korea.

Human and robot planning half marathons follow China’s promotion to expand their status as a global player developed.
“As an important hub of the Robot Industry in China in China, E-Town in Beijing has more than 140 robot engineering ecosystem companies, totaling about 10 billion yen (almost £ 200 billion), about 50. The company is the total of the city.
“As you move forward, e-town focuses on the advances of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, industrialization of high-end humanoid products, and the development of top innovation ecosystems.”
American Design Studio FUSEPROJECT has recently proposed a type of Humanoid, an AI -compatible robot for various domestic and commercial environments. Meanwhile, Japanese robot engineering startup Youkai Engineering debuted a portable cat -shaped robot that blows air to cool last month’s consumer electronics. Show at Las Vegas.
