New Delhi: Carlsberg India, a subsidiary of Danish brewers, will invest 350 rupees to expand its brewery in Mislu, Karnataka. The company announced it through the Karnataka government and Mou at Invest at Karnataka 2025.
This latest injection will increase the total investment in Carlsberg India’s Mysulu facility to Rs 600, building it to Rs 250, which has already been invested. The expansion is set to increase production capacity and meet the growing consumer demand in the region.
Located on 28 acres of Nanjangud Taluk, the brewery currently produces 80 million liters per year and produces Carlsberg and Tuborg products. This expansion introduces new canned lines, strengthening the production of packaged beer and improving glass lines, which increase the production of bottled beer. Additionally, the barrel line will enhance the brewery’s draft beer supply capacity.
Nilesh Patel, Managing Director of Carlsberg India, said, “Karnataka is a key market in Carlsberg India and this expansion highlights its long-term commitment to the state. Our investments support economic growth. Not only will it create additional employment opportunities. The next few years.”
With this move, Carlsberg India aims to solidify its position in the premium beer segment while contributing to Karnataka’s economic development.
