ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Ali Mohammad Khan has announced that former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan President Asif He said the matter could be resolved through talks with Ali Zardari. ARY News reported on political issues in this country.

In an interview with ARY News, he stressed that the key to solving all political problems lies in the release of Imran Khan. He believes Imran Khan’s release will help ease political tensions in Pakistan. He said the meeting was essential for democracy and called for a meeting between Zardari, Sharif and Imran Khan.

On December 28, Rana Sanaullah, Special Assistant on Political Affairs to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, expressed a similar view. Sanaullah said Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari should sit together to resolve Pakistan’s problems.

He said the attitude of some political parties had changed after the failed protests on November 26, 2024, and expressed the government’s determination to make the negotiation process with the opposition parties successful. Sanaullah said national issues can only be resolved through talks. He said that despite suffering political setbacks, the PML-N saved Pakistan from defaulting on its debts, ARY News reported.

Meanwhile, PTI leader Asad Qaiser renewed his demand for the release of the arrested party members, adding that the same has been conveyed to the government during ongoing talks, ARY News reported.

“During our ongoing dialogue with the government, we have been advocating for the release of the arrested workers. The ball is now in the government’s court and it remains to be seen what decision the government makes,” Kaiser told reporters. Let’s see what happens,” he said.

He said the human rights situation had attracted the attention of the entire Western world. Qaiser called on the Chief Justice to take note of the “violations” of human rights in Pakistan. “Lawyers need to come together,” he said, expressing concern about the “division” among lawyers.

Assad Qaisser called for a public trial in cases related to the May 9 incident. He said Imran Khan was linking his release from prison with the release of PTI workers. He emphasized the need to reevaluate foreign policy and called for talks to resolve the issue with Afghanistan. |Ani
