Chenna: British Airways flight from London to Chennai has been forced to return to London due to bad weather.
A flight from Heathrow Airport in London with 287 passengers, according to a daily THANTHI report, detours to London within a few minutes after encountering stormy weather.
The flight was scheduled to arrive at Chennai International Airport at 5:35 am, but returned to London due to weather conditions. Due to inconvenience, accommodation was provided to nearby hotels.
According to British Airways, the flight, which was supposed to depart at 7:35 am, was re -scheduled to depart from Chennai later. The airline apologized for the inconvenience to the passengers.
The bad weather in London has caused some other flights to confusion.
The airline advised the passenger to check the flight status before traveling.
Similarly, another British Airways flight from Chennai to London was scheduled to depart at 1:30 pm, but was delayed due to the violent weather. The flight will depart in the second half of the day.
A total of 572 passengers in two flights are affected by the weather confusion.
Following this, the airline guarantees that such confusion is minimized and to take passengers to their destination early.
