BRICS+ Media Centre Screens Animated Films to Celebrate the Chinese New Year – World

Moscow’s BRICS+ Information and Cultural Media Center held a screening of the Chinese animated film, “The Girl Named Niu Naitang” (2020, directed by Ju Yuanhao). The event was held by the TV BRICS International Media Network and commemorated the Chinese New Year celebration.

According to Oksana Serpak, a spokesman for the TV BRICS International Media Network and head of the BRICS+ Information and Cultural Media Center, animation screenings are an important part of the center’s activities. Get used to the best examples of animation in BRICS countries.

“To celebrate the arrival of China’s New Year, we have released an incredible animated film that tells the story of a young Chinese girl who is learning to develop relationships with her family and friends. Cellpack emphasizes We are very grateful to our Chinese partners for the opportunity to showcase this very popular project in China.

Additionally, media centre guests learned about the tradition of Chinese New Year celebrations. Mariya Kuzina, actress, director and expert in Chinese musicals, gave useful lectures on the topic. In her exclusive comment on TV BRICS, she said that China’s rich culture and centuries of history will attract people from all over the world.

Previously, the Media Center held a New Year screening of animated films directed by BRICS countries. Participants also explored the culture of BRICS Nations through entertainment contests and lectures.

The BRICS+ Information and Culture Media Centre was established in October 2024 by the Library of Foreign Literature and Television BRICS. Its activities will focus on developing and enhancing humanitarian cooperation between different countries, promoting culture, science and education.
