LAHORE – The Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA) successfully concluded its board meeting in Matsuyama, Japan, bringing together leaders and experts from across Asia to discuss the future of baseball in the region. The meeting was attended by key representatives including BFA Chairman Jeffrey Koo Jr. (TPE), Vice-Presidents Chen Xu (China), Masatake Yamanaka (Japan), and Syed Fakhar Ali Shah (PAK). In addition, committee members from Japan and Thailand also attended. , Iran focused on upcoming events and strategies for the growth of the sport in Asia. Pakistan’s Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, General Secretary of PFB and Vice-President of BFA, played a key role in highlighting Pakistan’s continued efforts towards the development of baseball at home and abroad. The conference also recognized Pakistan’s contribution in promoting sports and nurturing emerging talent. Among the key topics discussed were the BFA XVI West Asia Cup to be held in Karaj, Iran (May 2025) and the BFA XII U15 Asian Baseball Championship to be held in Tainan, Taiwan (August 2025). , several upcoming BFA events were included, such as the BFA 31st Asian Baseball Championship (August 2025). The BFA IV Women’s Baseball Asian Cup was held in Fujian Province, China, and Hangzhou, China.
The conference provided an important platform to strengthen regional collaboration and enhance the execution of future events.
