Barstool’s Dave Portnoy slams Beyoncé’s NFL Christmas Halftime Show

The 43-year-old singer delivered hits from his 2024 album Cowboy Carter, but Portnoy wasn’t convinced. “Beyoncé has been missing since Destiny’s Child,” the 47-year-old businesswoman wrote on X (formerly Twitter) following the pop icon’s performance at Houston’s NRG Stadium during halftime of the Texans-Ravens game. I wrote it.

This isn’t the first time Portnoy has lashed out at Beyoncé. His latest tweet was in response to a previous post he shared about the 2023 Texas Hold’em singer: “Rihanna > Beyoncé.” We’re not particularly close. ” The social media personality’s scathing review of the halftime show has garnered nearly 2 million views, and netizens echoed similar sentiments.

“Beyoncé’s show was a train wreck. Rihanna’s halftime show was so much better,” one user wrote. “There’s literally zero competition. There hasn’t been a good song since Single Ladies,” said a second person, while a third said the hate surrounding Beyoncé was linked to hapless rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs. It was speculated that this may be due to his alleged relationship with.

“I think people subconsciously object to that performance because they suspect she was complicit in Diddy’s sexual crimes,” they wrote. “Agreed! That was awful. “That show was trash. Netflix…Beyoncé…try harder,” another user said.

Beyoncé was joined by her daughter Blue Ivy with husband Jay-Z during her performance. Post Malone, Shabouzi, Rayna Roberts, Tanner Adele, Brittney Spencer and Tierra Kennedy starred in Netflix’s Christmas exclusive on Wednesday.
