New Delhi: Russia’s drone behavior has increased tension between Romania’s southeast European countries and Russia. Russia has recently sent some drones to the Romanian border that caused Romania.

Seeing the Russian drone near the geographical boundary, the Romanian Ministry of Defense immediately developed two F-16 fighters. It was identified by the Romanian Ministry of Defense, stating that two F-16 fighters were deployed from Borusia’s 86th Air Force Base. Both fighters conducted aerial patrols from 3:40 am to 5 am on the local time on Thursday, January 30.

The Ministry of Defense has sent warnings and warnings to local residents near the borders on the potential risk of objects from airspace on Thursday night. This alert lasted for 90 minutes. During this time, Russian drones continued to float on Ukraine near the Romanian border.

Russian drones have entered the geographical scope of NATO member states several times in the Russian -Ukelain war that broke out in 2022. Russian drones have previously entered Romania. Romania shares the border of 381 miles with Ukraine. Russia has been attacking a big attack at the Danau River Port in Ukraine in the past. The border of Romania is nearby. On Thursday, when Russia again began to attack Ukrainian city Izmile again on the Danube, some of the drones entered the Romania border. Later, Romania took precautionary measures and developed two fighters.

The Romanian government approved the draft bill in December and allowed the army to shoot a foreign drone that violates the airspace. Meanwhile, Romania’s Defense Ministry has stated that it has been preparing for a high risk in Russian attacks against Ukraine in the airspace.

The diplomatic relations between Romania and Russia are fluctuating. Romania has an embassy in Moscow and a consulate in St. Petersburg. Russia has an embassy in Bucharest and a consulate in Constantica. The historical relationship between the two countries has swayed between friendship, hostility, and neutrality. Since 1990, Russia has collapsed, and the relationship between the two countries has begun to worsen.
