Amaravati, January 3 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Thursday resolved to start development work in the state capital Amaravati with financial assistance from the World Bank, HUDCO and Germany.
The Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has decided to float fresh tenders for development works as per the guidelines of these agencies.
The Cabinet also approved two civil works worth Rs 2,723 crore in Amaravati.
Briefing the media persons about the cabinet’s decision, Information and Public Relations Minister Korus Parthasarathy said that the cabinet has approved the proposal for an ordinance to amend the Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authority (AP MRUDA) Act, 2016.
Once the MRUDA Act is amended, necessary changes can be made in the capital master plan, master infrastructure plan and zonal areas of the capital region, Parthasarathy explained.
The Cabinet has made arrangements for setting up of AM Green Ammonia (India) Pvt Ltd unit at Kakita.
The Minister said that in the past five years, not a single businessman had come forward to invest in the country, but several businessmen were now keen to set up their own units and this was also a sign of such proposals. It said that the Cabinet had approved it in accordance with environmental standards. Energy policy.
The company has been exempted from stamp duty, he added.
The cabinet has approved a proposal to set up integrated solar and wind energy storage projects in Nandyal and YSR districts. Similar projects to be set up at Kakinada and Hosur in Pattikonda Mandal in Kurnool district have also been sanctioned.
An investment of Rs 2,000 crore has been made through these projects and 1,380 jobs have been created, the minister said, adding that the state government has not allotted any land for these projects.
The cabinet has approved the proposal to allot 40 acres to the Indian Reserve (IR) battalion at Jangarapalli in Yadamari mandal in Chittoor district subject to certain conditions, the minister said, adding 40 acres to Nadinpalem in Patipadu mandal in Guntur district. The proposal to allocate 6.3 acres to the Indian Reserve (IR) Battalion, it added. The Director General of ESI Hospital, New Delhi was also given permission to construct ESI Hospital and staff quarters.
A plan to upgrade ESI Hospital in Tirupati from 50 to 100 beds at an estimated cost of Rs 7.44 billion and appoint 191 medical and paramedical staff to the hospital has been approved.
The cabinet has decided to release the state’s share of Rythu Bharosa when the Center releases the required funds.
The cabinet has approved a proposal to add 19 posts to the newly created Pithapuram Regional Development Authority for smooth functioning of the administration.
