Amitabh Bachchan made this rare appearance amid continued speculation of divorce between Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Although neither Abhishek nor Aishwarya have directly commented on the matter, there have been gestures and indirect quotes saying that the rumors should not be believed.
In such a situation, Amitabh Bachchan, who usually doesn’t like to comment on such issues, criticized “unconfirmed rumors” in an indirect blog post and expressed his concern for respecting the privacy of his family.
